Marstrand

The town of Marstrand is split into two parts, one being on a small island accessible by ferry. The hotel is located next to the ferry terminal,  at the outermost quay before the sea takes over. All year round you will find quality of life á la Swedish west coast with 98 rooms decorated in a Scandinavian style, mouth-watering food in the onsite restaurant, Ottos Kök, a salty SPA and spellbinding nature. Observe the challenges of boating and with something refreshing in your glass, evening sun and lukewarm winds it is easy to just be.

Marstrands Havshotell is located on Koön, right by the ferry terminal to Marstrandsön – easy to get to both by car and public transport.

By air
The nearest international airport is Gothenburg Landvetter Airport (GOT). From the airport, take the airport bus (Flygbussarna) or a taxi to Gothenburg Central Station (approx. 25–30 minutes). From there, continue to Marstrand by train or bus as described below. Taxis and car rental are also available at the airport if you prefer to drive directly to the hotel (approx. 1 hour).

By car
From Gothenburg, drive the E6 north towards Kungälv. Take exit 86 (Kareby/Marstrand) and follow the signs for Marstrand. When you arrive at Koön, follow the signs for Marstrand's ferry terminal – Marstrands Havshotell is located right by the water, just before the ferry terminal. Parking is available at the hotel. 

By public transport

It takes 1 hour to get to Marstrand from Gothenburg Train Station. Take the Västtågen train 3754 towards Stenungsund, then change trains at Ytterby station. From there, take bus 302 towards Marstrand and disembark at Marstrands färjeläge (ferry terminal).
